पंजाब के नवाशहर जिले के पोजेवाल कस्बे में आइआइटीटी इंजीनियरिंग कॉलेज में बीटेक प्रथम वर्ष के छात्र योगेश रंजन पांडेय की आत्महत्या का मामला गंभीर शक्ल लेता जा रहा है .योगेश की आत्महत्या के बाद छात्रों द्वारा मुआवजे की मांग की जा रही है जिससे बचने के लिए प्रबंधन ने कॉलेज को अगले पंद्रह दिनों के लिए बंद करने की घोषणा कर दी है और पुलिस ने धारा 144 लगा दिया है.
प्रबंधन के इस कदम से हॉस्टल में रहने वाले छात्रों की मुश्किलें बढ़ गयीं हैं क्योंकि मेस में खाने-पीने की चीजें भरपूर मात्रा में नहीं है। दूसरी तरफ बिहार के नवादा जिले के बहादुरपुर गांव में रह रहा योगेश का परिवार इस मामले को हत्या मान रहा है और दुबारा जांच की मांग की है। वहीं कॉलेज के सिनीयर छात्र और उसके साथी योगेश के मरने के लिए कॉलेज प्रबंधन को जिम्मेदार मान रहे हैं।
गौरतलब है कि 4 मार्च को प्रथम सेमेस्टर के पांच में से चार विषयों में फेल होने की सूचना पाने के तीन घंटे बाद योगेश की आत्महत्या की सूचना छात्रों में फैली थी। फेल होने वालों में अकेले योगेश ही नहीं था,बल्कि प्रथम सेमेस्टर के करीब 98फीसदी छात्र किसी न किसी विषय में फेल हैं।

ऐसे में उच्च शिक्षा के नाम पर दुकानदारी कर रहे संस्थानों की अगर देश में कभी गिनती हुई तो पंजाब के पोजेवाल शहर का आइआइटीटी कॉलेज पहले स्थान पर गिना जायेगा। जहां तानाशाही है, चुप कराने के लिए स्थानीय पुलिस है और सबसे बढ़कर मीडिया की इस मामले को लेकर बेकद्री है। छात्रों के मुताबिक,‘स्थानीय मीडिया इस मसले को क्रिकेट वल्र्ड कप खत्म होने के बाद उठाने की बात कह रही है।’
इस बार कॉलेज के भुक्तभोगी छात्र खुद ही अपनी पीड़ा बयान कर रहे हैं कि कैसे वहां की स्थितियां आत्महत्या के लिए मजबूर करने वाली हैं। लाखों रूपया संस्थान में फंसे होने के कारण उन्होंने दिल के बातें नामों से नहीं आआइटीटी स्टुडेंट और एनोनिमस के नाम से जनज्वार तक पहुंचायीं हैं, जिसे यहां हू-ब-हू प्रस्तुत किया जा रहा है...मॉडरेटर

we are the students of this college and we can't say you what is been happening with us. even the polce officials are threatening us. we have talked to the electronic media but they are not giving their response properly even some channels are saying to do it after the cricket world cup.

it is said that what happens is not as important as how we react to what happens unfortunately things have happened but there r no reactions from anywhere niether media nor ministry nor the government.
This issue is one of the biggest ever in an engineering college but the conditions write now in this college is worst a student can expect from an educational institution.when we peacfully want to protest against this managgment a local official mr jaswindar singh sodhi is giving an open challenge as if he is chief executive of this place and inforcing us to quit our protest.
He has earlier also spent a lot of money in heating up the pockets of the local police and even big officials like that of aicte who earlier visted this college. this man sodhi is so corrupt that he openly says that there is no one in this whole district who can change him. its an request to all the media and respected government officals through this blog that plz bring your attention towards us otherwise either we will start commiting sucide or we will end someones........

I am the student of this college and the enviorment is so wrong here that i have even tried to end my life but thanks to my frinds who made me choose the right path. after after somedays its so unfortunate that our friend ranjan pandey had to choose that step. no any medis person is trying to help us even the policemen are firing their lathis on us. we have been beaten by the police so brutually and not even the girls are left out of this by them. no any media and highe authority are helping us.
so through my comment i request the media person to please have an attention to help us.

I am student of iitt and also a close friend of yogesh.it is very shocking for all of us that yogesh is no more.about this i only want to say why the college owner don't mrs rama shina not take any action about the college management mainly sodhi and k.k goel. And why rama shina is not in college when all the matter is hapining.

today we visited the district comissionar of nawasharh against the managment of iitt college pojewal he although he responded to us but not the way we expected.he than suggested us to visit SDM at blachaur we did so and went there but as usually happens in case of government works there was a lot of panic and confusion among the officials but in the end we couldnot meet him as he was busy in some meetings but from SDM office we insured that there was at least security provided to the college of of our girl students who were threatened to have any kind of activity or missbehaviour with them.the biggest problem that we r facing right now is the fooding facility which has been completely stoped due to which students living in the hostel have not eaten anything for 2 days. we steel appeal especilly to the electronics media through this blog to pay proper attentions towards us oterwise this will continue and no doubt some more students would attempt sucide

ReplyDeleteeven after the protest of the students............no serious action is taken by the management. in fact the hostel students being threatened,mostly the girls, who r left in the hostel without food n security n finally the girls have to leave the hostel and go to some other places...this is the condition
the situation of the students r worst who r living in the hostel.......
the media like aaj tak , zee news,star news who r the nations top leading news channels told us that if the students wanna protest that they should protest after the world cup is over as they have no time for all these type of news as they r busy wid the world cup news.
